Golden Totara

Golden totara is a remarkable native to New Zealand tree. Its distinct feature lies in its striking golden-yellow foliage, which sets it apart from the standard green of its counterparts. Admired for its unique golden beauty, the golden totara adds a touch of warmth to the overall landscape.

Evergreen conifer, it can grow up to 6 m (20 ft) high and 4 m (13 ft) wide in 10 years. 

Prefers sun to light shade. Best golden colour shines in full sun.  It loves well-drained soil and is drought resistant when established.  

They can form a beautiful, dense hedge when trimmed.
