What can I spray the oxalis with that will not poison the area for future vegetables? You should use a glusophate such as Round Up - 20 mils per litre. Paint the Round Up, with a paintbrush, on to the oxalis leaves.
You may even want to mix a little bit of dishwashing liquid with the Round Up to help it stick to the leaves. Goodluck!
