Holiday Dispatch Updates: Important Dates to Keep in Mind
Order cutoff for the year is 2pm on Friday, 13th December '24.
To help avoid any delivery delays, especially around Christmas, we suggest using a non-rural address.
Monday, 16th December is the last day we’ll dispatch orders for the South Island.
Wednesday, 18th December is the last day for North Island and non-rural deliveries.
Any orders placed after 2pm on Friday, 13th December, and before 2pm on Friday, 3rd January will be sent out starting the week of 6th January. Our team at Awapuni Nurseries will be looking after your plants during the holiday period.
*You will receive an email when your order has been dispatched to preferred address or dispatched to shop-ready for pick up.
Click/collect or pickup as method of delivery - Once your order is packed & ready, you will get an email that the order is already dispatched (as in dispatched to shop - location Awapuni Nurseries, Pioneer Hway, Palmerston North). Please visit our shop Tues-Sat 10am to 2pm for pick up (we are closed on public holidays). Note: internet orders for pickup in the shop - it is advised to pick up as soon as practicable to ensure the quality of the plants.

We will do our best to dispatch as usual but there may be some delays, particularly to the South Island. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Pick up
To make a Click and Collect order, simply select the "Click and Collect" option for delivery at check out. Then in the message to the Nursery, please add the note " I would like to collect instore". Note: internet orders for pickup in the shop - it is advised to pick up as soon as practicable to ensure the quality of the plants.
**If you chose pick up for delivery method, once you get an email that the order has been dispatched (as in dispatched to our local shop for pick up), this means that you may already pick up from shop Tues-Sat 10am to 2pm except on public holidays. Please wait until you get an email saying your order has been dispatched, it means it is ready to be collected.
Your order can be picked up from the Nursery shop at Pioneer Highway. It will be labelled with the name you listed on your order.
