Lemon Bergamot
Lemon bergamot has very pretty pink flowers with purple dots. Its young leaves can be used in tea or in any gourmet dish, especially fish.
- Dig in compost to soil before planting
- Plant in semi-shade. Will tolerate full sun if the soil retains moisture
- Pick leaves as desired
- Cut back to the ground in autumn
- Dig up and divide plant every three years and discard the dead centre
