Cupressus Macrocarpa - 10 Plants
Cupressus macrocarpa (Monterey Cypress) is a hardy, fast-growing evergreen widely used throughout New Zealand for forestry, farm forestry, shelterbelts and timber production.
Macrocarpa has dense, dark green foliage and is valued for its durable timber, strong growth and suitability across a wide range of New Zealand conditions. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soils, and once established can tolerate exposed coastal and rural sites.
Our Macrocarpa seedlings are grown as robust forestry-grade plants suited to large-scale planting, woodlots, shelterbelts and rural properties. Mature trees commonly reach 20–30 m tall depending on site and growing conditions.
