Solanum jasminoides ‘Album Grandiflorum’ is a vigorous evergreen climber grown for its large white star-shaped flowers and twining growth habit. This climbing plant produces clusters of bright white blooms with yellow centres from spring through autumn. The flowers contrast with the glossy green foliage and provide long-season colour. Solanum jasminoides grows best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and benefits from support such as a trellis or fence. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used to cover walls, pergolas and fences.
