Coreopsis - Sunburst

Coreopsis flowers from spring to autumn. It has double and semi-double golden yellow flowers and is very free flowering, which makes it great for cut flowers and borders.

Coreopsis ‘Sunburst’ is a hardy perennial grown for its large golden-yellow daisy-like flowers and long flowering season. This compact variety produces masses of blooms with rich yellow petals and darker golden centres from late spring through autumn. The flowers rise above neat green foliage and attract bees and other pollinators. Coreopsis grows best in full sun with well-drained soil and tolerates dry conditions once established. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator plantings and seasonal colour displays.
