Carrot Harlequin
Botanical Name: Daucus carota
Nantes variety in an unusual mix of colours. Purple, orange, yellow and white roots, and each colour tastes subtly different. Excellent source of Vitamin A and antioxidants.
How To Grow
Sow thinly, 5mm (1/4”) deep in rows 30cm (1’) apart. Keep moist. Repeat every two weeks for continuous crops. Thin out to 10cm (4”) apart and water well to replace any soil dislodged from roots.
Ensure all obstacles such as stones and pebbles are removed from the garden bed prior to sowing.
Seedlings emerge 10-21 days.

Important Note
Soil should be lacking in nutrient; too much nutrients particularly nitrogen will result in forked carrots.
