Cistus ‘Bennett’s White’ is an evergreen shrub grown for its pure white papery flowers and compact, bushy habit. This rock rose produces masses of blooms with yellow centres through late spring and summer, creating bright seasonal colour. The flowers contrast with narrow grey-green foliage, giving a soft Mediterranean look. Cistus grows best in full sun with well-drained soil and tolerates dry conditions once established. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used for borders, coastal planting and low-maintenance landscapes.
