Sisyrinchium Devon Skies is a compact perennial grown for its star-shaped blue flowers and grass-like foliage. This clump-forming plant produces slender green leaves with upright stems carrying soft blue blooms with yellow centres during spring and early summer. The delicate flowers appear above the foliage, adding light colour and movement to garden beds. Sisyrinchium grows best in full sun with well-drained soil and tolerates a range of garden conditions once established. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used for borders, rock gardens and naturalistic plantings.
Key difference: Star-shaped blue flowers above grass-like foliage.
