Love in the mist (Nigella) flowers during spring to early summer. It's a good bedding plant. It stands out as a cut flower.
Easy to grow and low maintenance - they produce whimsical, intricate flowers with shades of blue.
For cottage gardens, it's stunning when planted with tulips, daffodils, snapdragons, cosmos and zinnias. It's a low-maintenance plant.
