Tomato - Brandy Wine Pink
Lycopersicon esculentum
Amish Heirloom since 1885. Pink fruit with green shoulders. Very large 350 - 700 g each, slightly prone to cracking and producing some misshapen fruit. Slices are solid and meaty. Grows to 150cm.
- Plant in sheltered, full sun, well drained soil
- Plant in different place to where previously grown tomatoes to reduce risk of diseases
- Dig in compost and plant 30cm apart
- Spray tomatoes with liquid copper to prevent fungal diseases
- Avoid overhead watering
- Stake if required
