Lemonwood is fast growing and makes an attractive hedge or shelterbelt. It produces long, oval, glossy pale green leaves with wavy margins. The leaves produce a lemon scent when crushed. And the small, creamy yellow flowers it produces in spring or early summer are also fragrant.

Planting Instructions

  • Grows to a height of 12m
  • Dig the hole for the plant about 1/3 deeper than needed
  • Place plant in hole and add compost
  • Compost will improve drainage and give the roots something soft to grow into
