Neem oil is an excellent organic spray. Avoid spraying the grapes themselves otherwise you’ll end up eating the oil once you harvest!

Read full articleMy suggestion is to create a thick border of leaves such as Liropes, Agapanthus Streamliner, Heuchera, Heleborus or Libertia. Plant these close together (300mm centres).
These plants are easy care and clump up nicely with age. I also recommend not using light mulch, if you are concerned your plants need fertiliser use a palletised variety
