Small poppies

If you got your hands on the Sweet Williams I recommended last month, you might well be seeking out a trusty companion.

If that's the case, look no further than the Iceland Poppy - an extremely attractive plant that yields large, bowl-shaped and lightly fragrant flowers. Not only do the two plants enjoy the same growing conditions, they make an attractive pairing.

Iceland Poppies will grow well along the side of your house and, better still, look great in a stylish vase inside your home. Just don't forget to plunge any cut stems into boiling water first to stop the sap oozing out.
And planting these pretty little poppies couldn't be easier. Simply dig a little hole and place the seeding inside. In around six to eight weeks you'll see flowers begin to emerge, with the plant eventually growing to around 50cm tall.

To get your hands on our ready-to-grow Iceland Poppy seedlings, simply step into your local Bunnings, The Warehouse or supermarket. Alternatively, visit our online store at and get your seedlings delivered direct to your door. Remember, if you order six or more items to a non-rural address we'll deliver for free or for just $4 to a rural address.
