Azalea Scarlet Prince
Azalea ‘Scarlet Prince’ is an evergreen azalea grown for its bright scarlet-red flowers and compact shrub habit. This azalea produces masses of vibrant blooms in spring, creating strong colour in garden beds. The trumpet-shaped flowers contrast with small glossy green leaves, forming a dense and tidy shrub. Azaleas grow best in partial shade with well-drained, slightly acidic soil and protection from strong winds. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, Azalea ‘Scarlet Prince’ is commonly used for borders, woodland-style plantings and low hedging.
