Buxus Sempervirens Variegata
Buxus sempervirens ‘Variegata’ is an evergreen shrub grown for its dense growth and green leaves edged with creamy white variegation. This box hedge forms a compact, slow-growing plant that responds well to clipping and shaping. The small rounded leaves provide year-round structure and contrast in formal and informal garden settings. Buxus grows best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and tolerates regular pruning. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used for low hedging, borders, topiary and formal garden design.
