Strawberry Camarosa
This fantastic home garden variety of strawberries produces sweet, medium-sized fruit.
Strawberry camarosa are juicy, all-time favourite strawberries that are simple to grow and thrive in pots or garden beds. For best yields, plant them in rich soil enhanced with compost or organic matter. Feed regularly with strawberry food. Mulch well to keep fruit clean and off the soil.
TV Bundle: seedling sizes, 3 seedlings/bundle
Bulk Bundle: seedling sizes, 10 seedlings/bundle
- Plant in full sun in well-drained (pH 5.0 - 6.5) and evenly moist soil
- Mix compost and blood and bone fertiliser and create a mound 300mm H by 400mm W
- Plant strawberries making sure crown, part just below leaves, is just above ground level
- Fertilise with high potassium and low nitrogen content liquid fertiliser
- Set up bird-netting
