Sisyrinchium Snowbells is a compact perennial grown for its white star-shaped flowers and fine grass-like foliage. This clump-forming plant produces slender green leaves with upright stems carrying clear white blooms with yellow centres during spring and early summer. The flowers rise above the foliage and provide light contrast in garden plantings. Sisyrinchium grows best in full sun with well-drained soil and tolerates a range of garden conditions once established. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used in borders, rock gardens and naturalistic plantings.
