Marge Miller camellia (Camellia hybrid ‘Marge Miller’) is an evergreen perennial shrub with a low, spreading to cascading habit. Glossy deep-green foliage is covered with double, soft-pink flowers from autumn into winter. It typically grows around 50 cm tall and spreads approximately 1 m wide.
This distinctive camellia suits banks, rockeries, garden edges, containers and planting over retaining walls. It can also be trained as a cascading standard. Plant in partial shade or gentle morning sun, protected from hot afternoon sun. It prefers moist, humus-rich, slightly acidic, free-draining soil. Water regularly while establishing and mulch to conserve moisture. Prune lightly after flowering if required.
