FUCHPR
Fuchsia Procumbens
Fuchsia procumbens is a low-growing, spreading native groundcover valued for its unusual yellow-green flowers and decorative berries. This prostrate fuchsia forms a dense mat of small rounded leaves that spread across the soil surface. The distinctive tubular flowers appear in spring and summer and are followed by small edible red berries. Fuchsia procumbens grows best in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade and tolerates coastal conditions. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used in rock gardens, borders, containers and as a groundcover in sheltered garden areas.
