Abelia × grandiflora ‘Snowtime’ is a semi-evergreen shrub grown for its arching branches, variegated foliage and small white tubular flowers. This compact shrub features green leaves edged with creamy white, providing year-round colour and contrast in the garden. Clusters of lightly fragrant white blooms appear from summer through autumn, attracting bees and other pollinators. Abelia grows best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and tolerates light pruning to maintain shape. Suitable for many New Zealand gardens, it is commonly used for hedging, borders and decorative landscape plantings.
